COVID-19 Information for Patients

In these stressful times, therapy is important now more than ever. In order to make sure that you have access to the care you need, I have implemented rigorous hygiene and social distancing protocols consistent with recommendations from the CDC and California Department of Public Health.

Here are some of the measures I’m taking to keep us safe during our sessions:

  • Masks are required throughout my building and in my waiting area

  • I respect and follow all social distancing guidelines

  • My office is thoroughly disinfected between patients

  • I provide hand sanitizer for patient use

  • I get a COVID-19 test every two weeks for your peace of mind (negative!)

  • As always, I’m happy to provide tele-therapy for those who would prefer to shelter-in-place

How does a video visit work?

  1. Choose a ZOOM SESSION on my Acuity scheduling page available HERE

  2. If you are using a cellphone, tablet or laptop, make sure it is charged and that the free Zoom application [https://zoom.us/download] is downloaded on your device.   

  3. Five minutes before our appointment a Zoom link will be sent to the email you provided when you scheduled your appointment.

  4. If there’s any problem with the connection, I will call you at the number you have provided to sort it out.

How does a phone visit work?
